Work in a fast growing floral studio with a fun and creative team! Amour is looking for hardworking, dependable and friendly candidates to help execute events. Our ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, but fun and creative yet hard working!

Team Positions Available-

 

2 Part-time Assistants (1 year round + 1 seasonal)
       

Duties 

• Help assist in keeping the studio clean and organized

• Floral design, desire to assist and learn how to create bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, and  installs, etc.

• Assist in on site installations of ceremonies and receptions on Fridays and Saturdays

• Assist in preparation of floral, shipments, packing merchandise, and organizing on a weekly basis. 

We are a fast-paced studio with sometimes large work loads for our clients. We are contracted with 80 to 100 events per year and growing! You must be able to stand for long periods of time carry heavy items and climb ladders etc. on event days.

• Be an enthusiastic, self-starter, dedicated, be flexible, reliable, and not a complainer.

• Have an eye for detail and design is a plus

• Bonus if you like 90s 2000s hip-hop and R&B and the occasional Court, TV. We like an upbeat, fun atmosphere to make the long days go by faster.

Raises and bonuses are given based on attendance and performance. Overtime is available during certain times of the year.

As much as we love our fellow event professional friends, we prefer someone that currently is not in the events industry to avoid any conflicts of interest/ double booking. This includes working for other floral companies, business owners, event planners or event professionals for a more cohesive. stable, workplace, and precedence.

Event Installers

​

Help set up and install weekend weddings on Fridays and Saturdays. Attention to detail and ability to follow directions is a must. Be professional on site and willingness to get the job done. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, carry 25 pounds or more, go up and down ladders and adapt to the summer heat. Amour also requires availability for late night take downs of these events. Must have a valid drivers license and insurance of vehicle is a must SUV is a plus.
